The Shepherds
When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.” ~Matthew 9:36-38
Christ and God the Father, sees the church as the sheep of His pasture (Ps 100:3).
Shepherds as a department in Faithword Charismatic Ministries Worldwide (FCMW) are responsible for the following: John 21:14-17
- Feeding the flock of God
- Taking Care of the flock of God
- Guiding Them
- Protecting the flock of God
- Building the flock of God in the word of God to establish them in the faith
Shepherds at FCMW are also responsible for undertaking the Foundation for new Believers’ classes as well as general church Bible Studies. Shepherding work is not for novices in the faith and as such, although people are encouraged to join this department, a critical assessment is made to satisfy leadership that one at the level in the faith where s/he can be trained to become a shepherd to tend for the flock of God.
