Daniel Agyarko Afari
Daniel Agyarko Afari was born to Mr. Emmanuel Yeboah Afari and Rev Mrs. Charity Yeboah Afari of the Methodist Church Ghana, at Wenchi in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. His early childhood life was mostly spent in Techiman in two popular communities, Takofiano and Wangara line – a Zongo community. He attended the local primary and junior high school i.e. Ameyaw Primary and Junior High School. Whiles growing up, he learnt how to swim in the Tano river, shepherd cattle and learnt about abattoir and a place called “mayanka” i.e. slaughter house.
In 1991 at the age of fourteen (14) years, he got born again at the Kintampo School of Hygiene (School of Allied Science) at a Scripture Union (SU) Camp. Coincidentally, his father was the camp commandant at that time.Three (3) years after, whiles studying and preparing for his Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) around 10:30 pm, he had an encounter in his room.
A divine personality showed up, smiled and spoke to him and then disappeared. After the personality disappeared, according to Daniel Agyarko Afarai, he began hearing voices in the room; and among the various words spoken, the most profound was for him to organize his colleagues for a prayer meeting. This encounter brought him into the move of organizing his colleagues and friends for prayer meetings. It was at one of these prayer meetings that the Holy Ghost manifested and many where saved and delivered from the oppression of the devil. After this encounter and prayer meeting, the call of God and the prophetic grace became evident in his life and this continued in his early days of life in Christ and throughout his secondary school years.
His education took him to Sunyani Secondary School for his high school education. During his time in the school, he played various roles in a number of religious groups and movements. Amongst his many leadership roles held at the time include Advisor to Christians Organizations on Campus. The anointing upon his life became so evident that, the school authorities sought his prayers and views on decisions taken at the administration level. Amongst his many prophetic recommendations led to the foiling of a number of explosive student demonstrations
His Mandate
The mandate of Prophet Daniel Agyarko Afari as given by God is
Born into a Methodist home, he became a Sunday school and Youth Teacher. It was out of this role that he co- founded the fellowship called All-Christian Evangelistic Ministries Inc. (ACEMI). This ministry produced many Christian leaders and Pastors were under the leadership of Daniel Agyarko Afari. Some of the products of this ministry have founded and pastoring churches in Ghana and other countries.
In the year 2000, he gained admission to the University Of Cape Coast to read Biological Sciences majoring in B.Sc. Chemistry. Whiles a student there, he became the assistant Prayer to the Ghana Methodist Students Union. Concurrently, he was functioning in his role as the Deputy General Overseer for All-Christian Evangelistic Ministries Inc. (ACEMI). He graduated from the university in May 2004 with a B.Sc. in Chemistry. He proceeded to serve as Dispensing Chemist at The Holy Family Hospital – Techiman between the years 2004 – 2005. Daniel Agyarko Afari got married to Rebecca Agyarko Afari on 6th August 2005. After the marriage the mandate to begin full time ministry was delivered and lead to the planting of Faithword Charismatic Ministries Worldwide.
Daniel Agyarko Afari was ordained into ministry in 2007 by Bishop E.W.K Kusi of Glorious Inheritance Missions at Techimen at Bromkyempem. Thereafter, having served under Prophet Nana Opoku Sarkodie at the Global Revival Ministries, he underwent prophetic mentorship and training in the ministry. In August 2008, he was blessed and released to fully start Faithword Charismatic Ministries with his wife.The mandate of Prophet Daniel Agyarko Afari as given by God is to: comfort, liberate people from demonic oppression and bring the lost to the saving knowledge of Christ through the Word of God . He carries out this unique mandate through the deep teachings of the Word, prophecy and Prayer. Prophet Daniel Agyarko Afari is the author of several bestselling books including The Beast of Immorality and Physically Incorrect. His radio broadcast The Word in Season Broadcast is listened to locally and internationally in several countries. He is a revivalist, a conference speaker and mentor to several pastors across the globe.
He has a powerful travelling ministry across Europe and North America. The unique feature about his ministry besides the prophetic anointing is his deep prophetic insight into the word of God; a teaching grace which has earned him the accolade Reservoir of the secrets of God’s Word. Prophet Daniel Agyarko Afari is married to Reverend Mrs. Rebecca Agyarko Afari, co-founder of Faithword Charismatic Ministries Worldwide. They are blessed with four children.
